This morning (April 30, 2010) it was announced that the Holy See issued recognitio to the English translation of the third edition of the Roman Missal.
Rev. Richard Hilgartner, associate director of the United States Bishops' Secretariat for Divine Worship, stated it appears that implementation will likely be November 27, 2011, the First Sunday of Advent. The Holy Father stressed that the change be “introduced with sensitivity.”
